Case's 1st Playgroup

Case had his first playgroup yesterday. It was the 'Meet and Greet" for our new Mommy and Me Program. It was fun getting to meet all the new moms. We went to the play area in the mall and Case was in heaven; he's never been to anything like that. He was not scared of the bigger kids, he just kept going in between all of them and was making all the other mommies nervous but I assured them that he is tough! We can't wait until we can play again!

Our Summer

So I have decided to change up the blog a little bit. Instead of from Case's point of view, it's going to be from mine. I'm thinking this will motivate me to post more because it will be easier (we'll see.) And I got the idea from Abby's Mommy *thanks! But, anyway it has been a busy month for us! Case has been growing like a weed! He gets where needs to go and fast! He has started walking along things and today he tried to stand by himself to get my pudding. He's constantly babbling and gets louder everyday. He has been practicing throwing his plastic balls around and has now found Ben's baseball and can palm it and throw it. We've got video of it, so when he's a Major League ball player, we can say "Look, you were throwing the ball at 9 months!" His teeth are coming in very well and man are they sharp!! He got a new a pool and got in the big pool for the first time at Gongie's house. We also attended my Grandpa's 100th birthday!! We have also been to meet our new nephew/cousin; Knox. He's the most precious thing and I can believe Case was ever that small. He's such a good baby and we can't wait till we get to see him and Libby again!! Libby is also getting so big and smart! She repeats everything you say! Case is also enjoying spending time with Adi and Hannie. He sometimes scares Adi cause he's so loud, but she can stand up for herself! She's so beautiful! And Hannie is such a great helper. And he absolutely adores her! We got to see Ari a couple of weeks ago and Case latched right onto her; it was so cute! We went to our church for a 4th of July festival..it was very special because it was Case's first 4th of July. We've seen fireworks before but he slept right through them, but he was wide awake for these and was mesmerized. They didn't bother him at all! He also learned play to peek a boo without any help getting the blanket off his head haha...I'm just so amazed at all the new things he does..almost everyday!!
